Lets help keep an eye on the most vulnerable members of our communities during this pandemic.
Assistant Commissioner Orla McPartlin, An Garda Síochána
“An Garda Síochána is pleased to collaborate with partners in the National Rural Safety Forum by providing as much support as possible during these challenging times to all communities. I wish to reaffirm the public commitment made by Deputy Commissioner John Twomey on behalf of An Garda Síochána to support the most vulnerable in our society, particularly our elderly and isolated. An Garda Síochána has always worked closely with our communities and we continue to do so in these extraordinary times. If you need assistance, please contact your local Garda Station”.
Mr. Brian Rush, Deputy President Irish Farmers Association
“The IFA urges all farmers to look out for vulnerable members in their communities and is encouraging all people to be aware of Bogus Traders and Callers at this time. The IFA strongly supports and is working closely with an Garda Síochána across the country during this time of uncertainty in their efforts to keep communities safe. I am urging famers to carry out a security audit/review of their homes and farms by making an inventory of any farm assets and marking their property.”
